About M3F: Rooted in a deep love of music, the arts, and the community
around us, M3F Fest was founded with the purpose to give back. The idea was
simple: two thousand fans, hundreds of lawn chairs, one stage, grandma’s
cooking, and 100% of proceeds donated directly to charity. Twenty-two years
later, we still operate under the same guiding principles, but we’ve surely
grown! The M3F Fund exists as a year-round venture, using our platform and
resources to try and make the world a better place. The M3F Fund wouldn't exist
without the support of our incredible fans, as 100% of every ticket to M3F Fest
goes directly to charity. When you buy a ticket to have the time of their life
at M3F Fest, you are ultimately giving back to the community around them. This
is why we say: Every Ticket Counts! Impact: M3F takes pride in supporting the community as one of the
only 100% non-profit Music Festivals. Since 2004, we have donated over $6
million to local charities. M3F's charitable giving focuses on four main
categories: Arts, Community, Education, and the Environment. https://www.m3ffest.com/

R&R: Knitting/Grupo de Tejer
Time
10:00 AM
Location
Main House
Bring your knitting needles and some yarn and join us for this new program, which is open to English- and Spanish-speaking knitters.
All levels of knitting proficiency are welcome. Totally new to the joys of knitting? No problem - we'll teach you how to cast on stitches and introduce you to knitting and purling. Already a wiz with the needles? Terrific - bring your latest project and enjoy the company of fellow "yarnies."
Knitting is creative and fun, and the gentle clicking of needles can put you in a relaxed and meditative mood that reduces stress. It can also force you to slow down and pace yourself a little - a big plus in our often hectic lives.
As facilitator Xiomara Smith puts it, "You don’t have to be an expert to love it, but you must be patient."
You can drop in for one session or attend several; like all Cancer Support Community Arizona classes, this program is free to participants.
