Participants will create a
painting in the style of Wassily Kandinsky’s Color Study: Squares with
Concentric Circles.
Kandinsky, a Russian Painter
known for modern, abstract and expressionism art painted his color study in
1913 to examine how different colors looked in relation to one another.
All materials will be
provided in this interesting and colorful activity. A brief discussion of
what colors mean will be presented too.
