Forest Bathing in Northern Arizona
Time
9:30 AM
The Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, or Forest Bathing, is good for both physical and mental wellbeing. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity, as well as lower heart rate and blood pressure,
boost the immune system and accelerate recovery from illness.
The workshop is designed for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, and friends. Walking and talking in community with one another while focused on taking in the healing power of nature is a powerful psychosocial healing
tool for the mind and heart.
Let's support one another by introducing a healthy lifestyle choice to our Wednesdays and practice forest bathing by walking together from 9:30 am - noon in gorgeous Flagstaff, AZ. Please ALWAYS register in advance so we know you are coming. We
