So that no one faces cancer alone®
Dear ,
It's a new decade, not just a new year, and we hope to bring more programs and services to people and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis, at no charge to them! Our first six-months of operation in Flagstaff brought many accomplishments and collaborations in our community. We're grateful for your warm welcome and look forward to a year filled with new opportunities to grow and offer support to those facing cancer.
Please help us spread the word about the critical services Cancer Support Community Arizona provides in our community as you connect with friends and family in the coming months.
Wishing you and yours a healthy 2020!

Welcome Our New Staff Member!
Cancer Support Community Arizona is thrilled to announce that Michele Lytle has joined our Northern Arizona team as our Outreach & Volunteer Coordinator. Michele initially joined us as a dedicated volunteer, and her knowledge of our community, deep relationships with organizations and experience recruiting volunteers is a natural fit for her new role. Be on the lookout for Michele!
In a recent chat with Michele we learned about her motivation and interest in our mission. Read more below:
Why did you decide to volunteer for Cancer Support Community Arizona?
I know the value of having community and support, especially in the trying times life brings you. Having experienced the cancer journey with my husband, John, it became clear that not everyone is fortunate enough to have that kind of support. When the news came that Cancer Support Community Arizona was opening an office in Flagstaff, both John and I learned what CSCAZ does and immediately signed up to be volunteers!
What excites you about your new role with Cancer Support Community Arizona?
The most exciting part of this role is that I get to let anyone, and everyone know they do not have to face cancer alone. I want everyone to know they can be part of our supportive team (volunteer) to help anyone impacted by cancer. People want to help...I want to give them the opportunity to help here!
What unique skills do you bring to your new role?
I have over 20 years’ experience helping people find the help they need and finding people to provide that help. It has been said that I do not have a problem talking, especially about a cause I believe in.
