Rise & Recharge in Flagstaff 15 Minutes of Movement In Anticancer Living, Cohen (2016) tells us, “Patients who exercised while undergoing chemo or radiation were more likely to have received all their treatments on time; experienced increased self-esteem and physical functioning; reported less brain fog and more mental clarity; experienced less fatigue and improved sleep; reported less nausea and improved appetite; experienced less nerve pain and numbness in extremities, had improved mood and less depression and anxiety; experienced shorter hospital stays and fewer trips to the doctor; and, most important, experienced a higher general quality of life” (p. 205). Sounds like a protocol we all should embrace. Healthy living through movement! We will demonstrate the 15 Minutes of Movement theory today in hopes you will embrace it each and every day.
