Our stories are meant to be shared.
Let’s imagine the stories that never got the chance to be told. Let’s think of the stories that are still inside of us waiting to be given a voice. Writing gives us a chance to tap into our creativity and see ourselves
and the world differently as we uncover new insights and truths about our lives.
Our facilitator, Dr. Kerri Quinn shares "I am an associate teaching professor with the Honors College at Northern Arizona University where I teach creative writing, literature,
and seminars in critical reading and writing. I also designed and facilitated employee wellness writing workshops at Flagstaff Medical Center. Through these experiences, I have refined my methodology for fostering emotional connection in small teams.
As the co-founder of The Creative Collective, I facilitate online writing workshops for women. Last month, my partner and I hosted our first yoga and writing retreat for women. The retreat created a space where storytelling and movement became tools for
self-discovery and change as participants explored the art of creative living. I am also collaborating with fellow writers I met at an off-Broadway storytelling event last year to plan a writing retreat in Sedona, Arizona in the spring of 2026.
Kerri
promises to combine creative writing prompts with gentle yoga poses and meditation to cultivate mindfulness and promote relaxation. It sounds like the perfect opportunity to engage in psychosocial healing together.
