Forest Bathing in northern Arizona

The Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, or Forest Bathing, is good for both physical and mental wellbeing. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity, as well as lower heart rate and blood pressure, boost the immune system and accelerate recovery from illness.

Let's support one another by introducing a healthy lifestyle choice to our Wednesdays and practice forest bathing by walking together from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in gorgeous Flagstaff, AZ. Please ALWAYS register in advance so we know you are coming. Forest Bathing starts at noon at CSCAZ northern Arizona, 914 N. San Francisco Street, weather permitting, each Wednesday throughout the spring and summer. If we have inclement weather on Wednesday, that day will magically morph into expressive arts.

The group will depart from CSCAZ at 9:30 am and everyone is invited to bring snacks and/or lunch, water, sunscreen, a hat, and walking poles.
