Forest Bathing - walking together The Japanese practice of shinrin yoku, or Forest Bathing, is good for both physical and mental wellbeing. It is proven to reduce stress hormone production, improve feelings of happiness and free up creativity, as well as lower heart rate and blood pressure, boost the immune system and accelerate recovery from illness. Let's support one another by introducing a healthy lifestyle choice to our Friday mornings and practice forest bathing by walking together from 11:00 am - 12 noon in gorgeous Flagstaff, AZ. On Fridays, we will meet in the parking lot of Cancer Support Community Northern Arizona and walk the beautiful downtown residential area. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring walking poles, hat, and water. Be sure to apply sunscreen and dress appropriately for the day's weather. You are welcome to bring a friend and leash-trained dogs are welcome. Please ALWAYS register in advance so we know you are coming. Forest Bathing starts at 11:00 am at CSCAZ northern Arizona, 914 N. San Francisco Street, weather permitting, each Friday.
