Art in Flagstaff Fieldtrip - NAZ in-person
Join CSCAZ Volunteer Olga Tsoudis and Jill Sans, artist and gallery owner at the HeArt Box Gallery at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024. (17 N San Francisco Street-entrance in the alley behind building)
We will explore and discuss the current exhibit and coffee/tea and dessert will follow in downtown Flagstaff (Olga's treating!).
THe exhibit on display is titled THEIR LARGENESS PASSES THROUGH ME (BY SHAWN SKABELUND)
Sometimes we find ourselves alone and isolated from the world. This isolation can be either chosen or involuntary or both at the same time. Shawn Skabelund’s art installation, Their Largeness Passes Through Me, is a glimpse into a hidden refuge among charred and fallen pines, the need to recreate and find oneself, and where healing and mending can take place. It is an honoring of the impermanence of life, and that change is inevitable and constantly surrounds us.
