This support group is open to those who have recently lost a loved one to cancer. In this group, we will provide a safe space to explore what cancer means in your life and in return you will find a community of individuals who will stand with you and who understand your story because they have lived it. The primary focus of this group is to support your emotional and social needs as we strive to be there for one another throughout the challenges of cancer. We will discuss the stages of loss, how to cope with grief and how to deal with anniversaries and other milestones in life. A brief interview is required to determine appropriate group placement.
